My son and I drove here from MA so we could get matching tattoos for his first tattoo. I was supposed to get my first tattoo with my mom at 18, but she passed when I was 17, so this was deeply meaningful and we decided to drive to NJ instead of waiting two years to meet MA’s restrictive policies. Best decision/investment. Being a spiritual person, I chose the shop based on the name, liked the art and let the winds decide the rest. Alex was able to fit us in on Thanksgiving and we couldn’t be more thankful!! It was a perfect day and a bonding experience that we will carry with us forever. He did an incredible job and made it a comfortable experience for my sons first tattoo; my son chose The Law of Equal Exchange symbol and I’m not sure he even fully realizes the gravity of the meaning behind this symbol as it relates to our life. Incredibly grateful, highly recommend!!

I’d definitely recommend visiting Anarchy 16 for your tattoos! I came in for the Friday the 13th flash sale for 4 tattoos ($30 each), and the entire experience was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and organized — from the front desk staff to my tattoo artist, Enmanuel, who did an incredible job. Anabel also deserves a shoutout for keeping everything running smoothly and managing the busy crowd so well. Even with so many people there, the vibe was great and everything felt well-handled. I’ll definitely be back!
